Bennifer is BACK, and A-Rod is jealous and frustrated. It seems the reunion was just as unexpected for Alex Rodriguez as it was for the rest of us. According to E! News, “A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on,” and “he truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her, and she has been very short with him.”

The shocking part? Jennifer Lopez’s romantic getaway with her old flame Ben Affleck was only eight weeks after J.Lo and A-Rod announced their split. The baseball player reached out to tell his ex-fiancée “he’s upset” but J.Lo is “not interested.”

According to Elle, “He is respecting her wishes right now, but has high hopes they will get back together.” Despite the fact that “he’s doing anything in his power to make J.Lo happy,” it doesn’t seem like she is paying much attention.

Back when Bennifer made their debut, the celebrity couple’s engagement lasted from 2002-2004. Throughout the past 17 years, the two have stayed in touch. And Ben Affleck began emailing her more often this February.

J.Lo and Ben spent a week cozying up at a resort near Yellowstone National Park. According to  E! Online, the two “were alone” and spent time “just the two of them.” Those who spotted the amicable exes said they looked like a couple.

While J.Lo and Ben Affleck hit it off at a Montana resort, A-Rod spent his weekend on a “date night” with his two daughters Natasha Alexander Rodriguez and Ella Alexander Rodriguez. He posted an Instagram picture with them at a basketball game, adding to the collection of photos that detail his life post-breakup.

Alex Rodriguez still hasn’t taken down any of his photos of J.Lo. On the other hand, Jennifer’s Instagram has only a few pictures left of A-Rod. A picture (or no picture) is worth a thousand words!
