Anna Duggar shot back at an online hater who claimed her husband, Josh Duggar, can’t afford seven kids. When the Duggar couple took to Instagram to announce the sex of their seventh baby, so did haters. While there were plenty of supportive comments and congratulations floating around, one comment questioned whether Josh could even support a family of that size.

“How do you afford all those kids? Does Josh even work?” one Instagrammer blasted the happy family in the picture. The former reality star and mother of seven clapped back: “Yes, my husband is a diligent worker and provides well for our family.”

The video of the baby’s sex reveal hit Instagram Friday, along with a Twitter post, and while most comments were nice, there were plenty of hate-filled passes at the 19 Kids and Counting alumni. “How does he afford all those kids?” One commenter wrote. “And then afford the other kids from his other “families” he has with his mistresses? And still able to afford the alcohol he drinks every day and night?”

The video shows the Duggar couple standing underneath a clear umbrella as pink confetti rains down on their heads. Their six children enter the frame from behind, sprinting towards the camera with happy-go-lucky expressions. The video is stamped with a pink “it’s a girl” tag, revealing that the seventh baby will beak the current three-boy and three-girl tie the Duggar clan has.

Anna Duggar captioned the video: “We are overjoyed to announce baby seven is on the way and we can’t wait to hold her in our arms this fall.” The Duggar family sent congratulations via social media. Joy-Anna Duggar and Jana Duggar both shared their excitement for the sex reveal. “Another girl!!! Congratulations!!! Joy-Anna wrote. Jana Duggar made sure to comment: “So excited for you all!”

One of the hot topics in the Twitter and Instagram feeds beneath the sex reveal video was not only Josh Duggar’s ability to financially support his seven kids but his scandal from 2015. According to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, their oldest son, Josh, had “improperly touched some of our daughters.” Though Josh was a teen boy at the time of the alleged molestation (2002 and 2003), fans were outraged at the revelation.

“He said he was just curious about girls and he had gone in and just basically touched them over their clothes while they were sleeping; they didn’t even know he had done it,” Jim Bob Duggar told Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly in 2015. The molestation scandal was so widely covered that TLC decided to cancel the popular reality show 19 Kids and Counting after nine seasons.

The scandal reportedly brought the family closer together in the end, according to US Weekly. Josh went to rehab and counseling with Anna. The two now share six beautiful children and a seventh is on the way.
