Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande have officially tied the knot, exchanging vows in a private ceremony over the weekend. The pop star’s romantic roller coaster finally got a happy ending, with People magazine confirming that Ariana and Dalton are officially hitched.
“They got married,” a representative for the Victorious star said, explaining that the ceremony “was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
It all went down in Montecito, California, where Ariana Grande has a gorgeous house. “Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito,” a source said. “They spend a lot of time there. It seems only natural that they would get married at Ari’s beautiful and historic house.”
According to TMZ, the wedding was less than formal, with an exchange of “I dos” privately and intimately. It isn’t clear if it was planned for a while, or if Ariana and Dalton just couldn’t stay engaged for any longer. Impulse or not, the wedding was reportedly a lovely expression of love and happiness.
That love and happiness started back in January 2020, just before the world shut down. Ariana and Dalton stuffed themselves away, socially distancing themselves and apparently cultivating a strong relationship. Now, only a year and a half later, “they couldn’t be happier,” according to a source close to the couple. “They’re just so excited. This is a happy time for them, both sets of parents are thrilled.”
The couple got engaged in December, with Ariana Grande posting her ring for all to see on her Instagram page. “Forever n then some,” she captioned the post. Dalton, a 25-year-old real estate agent, picked out the right kind of rock.
Just last month, the Thank You, Next singer posted a group of heartwarming pictures of her and her new hubby. “!!! my heart my person !!! thank u so much for being u,” she wrote along with the photos, both Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez posing together, arms wrapped tightly around each other in each one.
Other than a few spotlighted photos and one rare date night in Los Angeles, both Ariana and Dalton have kept their relationship under wraps. “He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private,” a source explained to People.
The couple’s first high-profile appearance was in Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s Stuck with U music video. The couple announced that they were official.
“Ari’s family is very happy. Everyone loves Dalton. He is great for Ari,” the insider said at the time. “This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton.”
It seems that Ariana Grande’s song is right. She’s stuck with Dalton for good, but she isn’t complaining.
