Bachelor Nation is getting ready for another season of Bachelor in Paradise and this one is going to be juicy! The first episode airs Monday, August 16 on ABC… but who can wait that long! If you’re itching to know who gets engaged and who splits read on. But you may want to keep a tissue box handy!
WARNING: MAJOR ‘BACHELOR IN PARADISE’ SPOILERS BELOW
The Bachelor in Paradise cast list has been out for a while, but there are still some surprise visitors along the way. To make room for those newbies, veteran contestants have to leave. As with any season of BIP, drama ousts contestants without warning. Fans will have to watch their favorite bachelors and bachelorettes leave the island single. So sad.
Out With The Old…
According to Reality Steve, there are quite a few contestants who say goodbye to Mexico before overnights. Kendall Long is one such victim, who reportedly leaves midway through the season from a broken heart. Kendall finds it too difficult to watch Grocery Joe happy with someone else and leaves without an engagement ring. Kendall does end up having a fling with Ivan Hall before her departure, but they both call it quits and leave the island for good.
Alana Milne and Chris Conran get involved but don’t last long. Their relationship faces severe backlash as other contestants accuse the couple of scheming, claiming they hung out before filming. They leave almost as soon as they get together, but each exits alone.
Victoria Paul is one of the most tragic goodbyes of the season. In the very first episode, the original ca, t member is called out for having a boyfriend back home. She ends up eliminating herself and takes off before the first rose ceremony gets underway. Kelsey Weier, Victoria Larson, and Serena Chew make it to the final rose ceremony unscathed, but the victory doesn’t last long because they fail to win over that special someone. The lot is eliminated before they get a chance to shine.
In With The New
One of the best parts about Bachelor in Paradise is that new faces are constantly added to the mix, bringing all sorts of new drama to the island. Mykenna is one of the last people to join the cast and wastes no time falling in love. She goes on a date with Ed Waisbrot, but their fling doesn’t last. Ed does choose Mykenna over Natasha Parker during one rose ceremony, eliminating Natasha late in the game.
Chasen Nick arrives after the first rose ceremony, Reality Steve reported. Chasen stirs up some trouble with Becca. She calls him out for spreading rumors about their alleged pre-show hangout. Becca also accuses Chasen of coming on the show for “clout” and his ruined rep costs him big time. While he does go on a date with Deandra, Chasen Nick ends up an early elimination.
Some other honorable mentions are Dr. Joe, Blake Monar, and Demar Jackson, who all arrive late in the game, go on dates but leave empty-handed. Tahzjuan Hawkins also makes a brief appearance but ends up self-eliminating before he gets the ball rolling.
Biggest Twist Of All – Becca Kufrin
Lovable Bachelorette alum Becca Kufrin joins Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, according to reports. While she doesn’t make it to the season premiere, Becca does arrive in Mexico to spice things up. People reported that Becca Kufrin will reunite with Joe Amabile after he failed to win her heart in Season 14 of The Bachelorette.
During that season, Becca chose Garrett Yrigoyen. The pair got engaged but ultimately called it off “after many conversations.” Becca explained during a podcast that the decision “wasn’t just something we just arrived at one night.”
She claimed that “it wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments. There’s much more to it. To any relationship, there’s a lot of layers. It’s not for me to divulge details. It’s no one’s business other than what I’m telling you right now.”
It’s unclear whether Joe Amabile and Becca Kufrin are together throughout the season, but Reality Steve is adamant that the pair don’t end up together. According to his report, Grocery Joe ends up with Serena Pitt, and they leave happily ever after.
