Bridget Fonda, known for sexy ’90s films including Singles, was photographed for the first time in 12 years. Before and after photos show a shocking change.

The actress was photographed while running errands in Los Angeles. She was joined by her 17-year-old son, Oliver, and the family dog, Yuki. Bridget kept her hair out of her face with a simple ponytail and wore black framed glasses. The former actress kept her outfit comfy with a black-and-white striped shirt, blue sweatpants, and sneakers. She had a purple purse and carried her car keys, mask, cellphone and reusable cup.

Bridget recently celebrated her 58th birthday. She is married to Danny Elfman, former front man for Oingo Boingo. The couple live in a ranch in Santa Barbara with their son and dog. While Bridget hasn’t been seen in Hollywood for some time, Danny Elfman is still active in the industry. He regularly posts on Instagram, but his posts mainly focus on his work and pictures of Yuki.

The Single White Female actress stopped acting back in 2003 after she was in a bad car accident. In February 2003, Bridget was driving south on the Pacific Coast Highway when she lost control of her 2001 Jaguar causing it to flip over the embankment and roll downhill. The 39-year-old miraculously survived the ordeal and walked away from the wreckage.

At the time, authorities thought that Bridget was probably driving too fast on the wet road and that was what caused her to crash. They said she was wearing her seatbelt, which helped her survive. She walked away with minor cuts and bruises, but a back injury which turned out to be more damaging than originally thought, caused her to stop acting and focus on her family.

Before these before and after photos surfaced, the last time Bridget Fonda made an appearance in Hollywood was in 2009 when she joined her husband at the LA premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

Bridget started her acting career years ago when she was just 5 years old. She appeared in the 1969 film Easy Rider, alongside her father, actor Peter Fonda. She went on to become a hot actress of Hollywood, appearing in movies such as Single White Female, Singles, Point of No Return, The Godfather Part III, Singles, and It Could Happen to You.

Singles became one of Bridget’s biggest movies. The 1992 romantic comedy had her starring alongside Matt Dillon. The two actors played love interests in the film, and they each became sex symbols.

While Bridget Fonda is known for her acting, she is also known for her famous family. The 58-year-old is part of the Fonda acting dynasty. Her aunt is actress and fitness guru Jane Fonda. In 1993, the former actress spoke about the amazing talent that exists in her family.

She said, “I wonder what kind of satisfaction I would have with where I am now if I wasn’t part of a family that has done such phenomenal work,” Fonda told Movieline in 1993. “I wonder what it would feel like to know that you’ve made it completely under your own steam. I sometimes wonder if I would be more at peace if I could know I made it by myself, instead of always wondering how many times my name got me in the door.”

Despite her exit from Hollywood, Bridget Fonda seems to be very close with her family. Her aunt, Jane Fonda, has photos of a 2009 Christmas party on her website. According to the older actress, Bridget and her husband throw a Christmas party every year for the family.

Jane Fonda said, “Bridget and Danny give an annual Christmas party, each one with a theme. This year was Cuba and there was a fantastic full Cuban band. Many people wore costumes. We did a minimal job on costumes but had fun anyway.”
