Cassie Laundrie, Brian’s sister, has a message for her brother who disappeared after his girlfriend Gabby Petito’s death. “I would tell my brother to just come forward and get us out of this horrible mess,” Cassie Laundrie told Good Morning America Tuesday morning.

Unlike Brian’s parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, who have remained mostly uncooperative with investigators, Cassie Laundrie has spoken publicly about the Gabby Petito case. Today marks the second time she has made an appearance on Good Morning America. But, despite what she says publicly, it is unclear how much she knows and if she’s telling the truth.

There have previously been inconsistencies in her story. She seemingly switched the date when talking about the last time she saw her brother, Brian Laundrie. Authorities are not sure whether that was a simple mistake or an omission of information.

Living in Florida with her husband and two kids, Cassie Laundrie (Cassie Luycx by marriage) said her brother is such a “wonderful uncle” who has “always been there when I need him.”

On Sep. 1, the day Brian Laundrie returned home to North Port, Florida without Gabby, she said he stopped her her house like any other “ordinary” visit. Her parents were also there.

She told authorities later that she does not know where he is, but that if she did, she would “turn him in.”

“I really wish he had come to me first that day with the van,” Cassie Laundrie said, “because I don’t think we’d be here.”

The van that Gabby and Brian traveled in was later found in Sarasota County, Florida. A note, left in the car by police, reportedly asked for it to be removed.

The last time the two Laundrie siblings saw each other, according to Cassie, was when their family went to Fort De Soto Park Campground in St. Petersburg. Fl. The trip, which was originally planned on Aug. 24 for two people, Brian’s parents, to take place on Sep. 1, was later cancelled on Aug. 31, just one day before Brian returned home.

The entire family went up instead one week later on Sep. 6, where Cassie revealed she was also present.

“We just went for a couple of hours and we ate dinner and had s’mores around the campfire and left, and there was nothing peculiar about it,” she said. “There was no feeling of grand goodbye. There was no nothing.”

“I’m frustrated that, in hindsight, I didn’t pick up on anything,” Cassie revealed. “It was just a regular visit.”

Speaking on Tuesday, she told Good Morning America that she’s now “angry” and “doesn’t know what to think.”

The GMA interview contradicted a previous interview she gave to ABC in which she said that she had not spoken to Brian since his return on Sep. 1. According to her lawyer, these timelines inconsistencies were simply due to what he described as “misinterpreted” answers to “poorly posed” questions.

The inconsistency, however, has led many people online to believe that Cassie Laundrie may know more about Brian’s whereabout than she is letting on. Is it possible that Cassie knows where her brother is?

Speaking with GMA back in med-September, she said that she that she just hoped Brian was “okay.”

She called Gabby “like a sister,” and mentioned that, “my children love her, and all I want is for… this to be just a big misunderstanding.”

“Whenever they fight, they would take a little break and come back and be fine, because that’s what you do in a couple,” she said of all the stories of their alleged toxic relationship. “It looks typical for both of them.”

As authorities comb Florida swampland for Brian Laundrie, reports have been flying in from North Carolina, Tennessee, and even Canada. He has been missing since Sep. 17, now well over two weeks ago.
