Sex and the City star Chris Noth was accused of sexual assault by two different women on Thursday, which the actor called “categorically false.”

One incident stemmed from a sexual encounter in 2004 in Los Angeles, CA, while the other allegedly occurred in 2015 in New York. The women, who are now aged 40 and 31, accused the actor of sexual assault under pseudonyms released by The Hollywood Reporter, identified as Zoe and Lily, respectively.

Both encounters with Chris Noth, a.k.a. Sex and the City’s Mr. Big, detailed rough, non-consenting sexual experiences brought to light by women claiming abuse from a television star they described as “like a god to us.”

WARNING: The descriptions of events below are extremely graphic and could be disturbing to some readers.

“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false,” Chris Noth said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon. “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross.”

“The encounters were consensual,” he continued. “It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lily, the 31-year-old journalist from New York, said that promotion and press for the Sex and the City reboot series And Just Like That stirred up painful memories of her experience with Chris Noth, which is why she reached out to the news outlet back in August to share her story.

“I’m not sure how you go about this sort of story and how you find the other victims,” she told THR. “Seeing that he was reprising his role in ‘Sex and the City’ set off something in me. For so many years, I buried it.”

She said that she was “star struck” upon meeting him in a nightclub in New York City in 2015, and was “flattered” that he started hitting on her despite the fact that he was married.

Meeting Canadian actress Tara Lynn Wilson in the early 2000s, the two got married in 2012 and had two sons, Orion and Keats. They are still together, with Tara giving birth to their second son, Keats, just this past year.

At the time, Lily was 25 and Chris was 60. She remembered thinking, “Mr. Big is asking me out for dinner” after she gave him her number. He asked her out to Il Cantinori, which SATC fan Lily knew was where Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) threw her 30th birthday in the HBO series.

“It’s just dinner,” she remembered telling her friend, who advised her not to go. She told THR that she later realized, “when you’re in it, you don’t see the red flags.”

Going to his Greenwich Village apartment after dinner, Lily said that she was very intoxicated and having a near out-of-body experience by just being in the presence of the television star. She began to drink even more with Chris Noth, who showed her his whiskey collection.

“I thought, ‘We’re going to drink whiskey and talk about his acting career.’ It sounds so stupid,” she said. Lily stated that this is when things took a turn, and when entertaining his attempts to make out with her became dangerous.

The actor allegedly stood up, took out his penis, and thrust it into her mouth. Before she knew it, she said, she was penetrated from behind in a chair, and that she was “crying as it happened.”

“I went to the bathroom and put on my skirt. I was feeling awful. Totally violated,” she recalled. “All of my dreams with this star I loved for years were gone.”

Lily revealed that he left his a voice message the next day asking her to keep the experience just between them.

Zoe, now 40, was 22 at the time of her encounter with Chris Noth, which she described as very similar to Lily’s. Flirting with her in Los Angeles, Noth asked her to bring a book he left at her office back to his apartment where he then raped her from behind.

“It was very painful and I yelled out, ‘Stop!'” she said. “He didn’t. I said, ‘Can you at least get a condom?’ and he laughed at me.”

“I was 25 at the time,” she continued. “It was a lot. I didn’t know what to do.”

The incident occurred a decade before #MeToo, and she said she buried the memory until seeing his face again in And Just Like That… promotion.

Chris Noth, who has denied the allegations, was just recently killed off the show in the premiere episode, suffering from a heart attack. It is unknown if either of the women plan to press criminal charges.
