Erika Jayne is being criticized her for recent posts that compare her ongoing legal battles to the struggles of Jesus Christ. Erika said she never made the comments. She explained that she only reposted the comparison that someone else made.
That fan is Matthew Murray (@mattmurray47) and he has been very vocal about his opinions on Erika Jayne and her legal battles. The super-fan posted on his Instagram story calling out lawyer Ronald Richards for slandering the RHOBH star.
Instagram haters were quick to respond to the statements, especially when Erika reposted the story. One user tweeted and said, “Erika Jayne comparing herself to Christ is … absolutely insane,” one person tweeted. “This woman has lost her damn mind.”
The super-fan has said that he wasn’t comparing Erika to Jesus Christ, but instead was talking about how lawyer Ronald Richards is unethical like those who killed Christ. He called for Richards to be disbarred because he is accusing Erika of something she didn’t do.
Ronald Richards is in charge of liquifying Tom Girardi’s law firm and estate.
Richards has since responded to Erika and her super-fan and said, “There is not a single statement that anyone can point to that our office has ever posted that is untrue or inaccurate. Reposting someone’s insulting statement doesn’t change that fact, all of our posts are accurate and sometimes the truth hurts.”
Even among the hate, Erika’s fans are still supporting her and calling for the star to use this drama to write another album. One fan tweeted, “And just like Christ, we want to see @erikajayne resurrected and bring out a new album. Channel all this hate energy and turn it into something powerful!”
Meanwhile, the RHOBH star is still dealing with mounting drama surrounding her ex-husband and their embezzlement case. It was just discovered that Tom Girardi’s law firm paid $25 million to Erika Jayne to cover the expenses of her lavish lifestyle. The money was supposed to cover Erika for 12 years and she received it right after the couple split back in November 2020.
According to sources she spent the money on a credit card bill, a glam squad and other expenses. Richards is calling for the star to pay the money back.
“The evidence is undeniable,” he argued. “The law firm paid out over $25,000,000 in expenses which were approved and generated by one person, Erika Girardi.” We are hopeful that Ms. Girardi comes down the mountain from a place of privilege and obscene wealth and returns some of these expenses so the former clients and creditors of this law firm can mitigate the horrific and unfair losses perpetrated by her husband and others,” he added.
Richards has repeatedly asked Erika and her lawyers to pay back the money and told the media that he’d rather settle everything now than waste more money on lawyer’s fees.
Evan C. Borges, lawyer for Erika Jayne, said that he and his client are willing to talk about settlement with the Girardi estate, but that doesn’t mean that Erika is guilty. He said that settlement talks between sides are still in the early stages.
Tom Girardi’s law firm reportedly owes over $101 million in debt and the former lawyer is currently living in a mental health facility following his dementia diagnosis.
