Kristen Stewart’s wedding is set to be a star-studded event, and she already has the perfect person to officiate – Guy Fieri. The Mayor of Flavortown said yes to officiating Kristen and Dylan Meyer’s wedding and fans can’t wait for the big day.
During her interview on the Howard Stern Show, the actress joked that she would love for the Food Network star to officiate her wedding.
She said, “We’re either going to have, like, no one—we’re just going to do it ourselves and just, like, not have somebody officiate to sort of, like, have another party involved in, like, our moment—but we did hear that Guy Fieri from the Food Network officiates a lot of gay weddings,” she said. “And so the idea of that man—that sweet, sweet spiky-headed man—coming to our wedding and officiating, it just makes me laugh so much.”
Kristen’s dreams got back to Guy Fieri and The Today Show helped him out when it came to answering the Twilight star. He was able to send Kristen a very sweet video with his answer. The Mayor of Flavortown is “all in” for the Kristen and Dylan Meyer wedding!
When Hoda Kotb asked if Kristen was serious about having Guy officiate, she was more than excited. The actress said, “Absolutely. Do you know where he lives? What’s his address? Does he live in L.A.? We should talk about this.”
Since announcing her engagement on the Howard Stern Show, fans everywhere have learned more details about Kristen Stewart’s wedding. Apparently, the actress got engaged months ago but only announced it to the world now.
“The funny thing is even Dylan’s dad sent us an email congratulating us,” she shared on Today. “He was like, ‘Girls! I’m so happy for you.’ We were like, ‘You were at the engagement party months ago.'”
This secret engagement makes sense because both Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer were photographed wearing matching rings months ago. The pair has yet to confirm if the rings are their engagement rings, but the simple bands are beautiful.
Kristen has been wearing her band for much of her promotional work for Spencer. The band, which is a simple silver ring with square-cut sides, works perfectly with the actress’ style.
The couple first met in Los Angeles in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2019 when they made their relationship official. And according to the Spencer actress, the city has always had a special place in their relationship. Kristen said that it was true love right away.
The actress also announced that the couple is planning to keep their nuptials in L.A. so that all their close family and friends will be able to join them. Kristen told Howard Stern that she doesn’t want a wedding without her family, and would be glad if Covid-19 wasn’t a thing anymore.
“I want it to be pretty chill,” Kristen said on the SiriusXM show. “I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We’re just going to, like, stand and do vows and f–king party after. It’s kind of just a great excuse to get together and say, ‘I love you’ in front of all your friends.”
