Did the on-screen drama on HBO’s Euphoria spark an off-screen romance? Photos of Hunter Schafer and co-star Dominic Fike holding hands in West Hollywood on Saturday, Jan. 15, set the Internet ablaze with dating rumors.

Exciting fans about the possible romance, Dominic Fike can be seen leading Hunter out of The Nice Guy, a West Hollywood restaurant that pays homage to depictions of Italian mafia bars in tv and film. The two were holding hands as they exited the venue, though a Twitter user claimed that they were also intimate while inside.

Dominic, 26, and Hunter, 23, were reportedly seen dancing and kissing, with the source claiming that model Anwar Hadid and rapper 24kGoldn were also in attendance Saturday night.

In photos captured by paparazzi, Hunter was dressed casually, wearing a white hoodie and black zip-up jacket with patterned shorts. Dominic wore a beige-and-black striped sweater, black pants, and black boots. Hunter was masked and had her hair up. Dominic wasn’t wearing a face covering.

“OK I WAS NOT EXPECTING BUT WHATEVER IT IS I LOVE IT,” one fan commented on Instagram.

“Uuuuh, i like this couple 😍,” another commenter wrote. “So cute !!!! Love this 🤍❤️” another said.

The two have yet to comment on the rumored relationship after being spotted holding hands, as they have both been promoting Season 2 of Euphoria. Hunter Schafer also recently posed for Prada.

Trailers for the second season of Euphoria teased a love triangle between newcomer Elliot (Dominic Fike), Jules (Hunter Schafer), and Rue (Zendaya), but it appears that some of the on-screen sexual tension may have made its way beyond the set.

Zendaya, meanwhile, has been romantically linked to her Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Tom Holland.

“There were a lot of conversations over the years about where the show was going to go and what it was going to evolve into, and I remember when Sam [Levinson] first kind of talked about the idea of this Elliot character, I wasn’t feeling it,” Zendaya originally told Variety about Dominic Fike’s addition to the cast.

“But, in retrospect, and also as someone who understands where the show needs to go and what needs to happen for these characters,” she continued, “it’s crucial that Elliot exist and that he be the person that is honestly the catalyst for a lot of things that just have to happen.”

“I think I was in a similar boat to Z when I first heard about this ‘Elliot boy,'” Hunter Schafer added. “But, you know, as we saw more of what it brought into the story and the script, it became a more interesting and exciting prospect, and once Dom came on board, he made it a lot of fun.”

Hunter was previously linked to model Massima Desire, a.k.a. Massi Dee, but they never confirmed that they were actually a couple. At the same time, Dominic Fike was openly involved with Booksmart‘s Diana Silvers, which reportedly led to an eventual collaboration with Paul McCartney on McCartney III Imagined. However, rumors of a continued relationship or fallout between them were never reported.

In the first episode of Euphoria Season 2, Dominic’s character Elliot saved Rue from an overdose and kept her company during a party. We don’t yet know how that will affect Rue and Jules’ latest on-again, off-again tryst.

“I can’t wait to see where people go with that and for all the hate messages I’ll get on my Instagram,” Dominic Fike told Variety about how his character will influence the season. “Going into hiding. I can’t wait.”

The on-screen love triangle continues on HBO’s Euphoria on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EST.
