Weight gain? No worries! The British model and influencer Iskra Lawrence is taking to Instagram to share photos that show off her post-pregnancy body. After giving birth to a baby boy last year her shape has changed. But she’s embracing her new curves – not shunning them.

Iskra is represented by JAG Models in America and Model 1 in Europe and is sponsored by Aerie, a clothing brand that sells dresses, sleepwear, and lingerie for all body types. The influencer tours universities across the United States and speaks with students about how to remain body positive. The gorgeous model encourages her fans to celebrate all body types.

In her most recent message, Iskra Lawrence sported a two-piece silk PJ set spotted with dainty flowers. Her hair, which is draped on both sides of her face, is “wrapped up to create overnight heatless curls,” according to the Instagram accessibility note.

On the post, she uses a caption that makes it clear she’s OK with her newfound curves. “Gained weight, still feel cute,” Iskra wrote. “Let’s continue to normalize that our bodies fluctuate; soften, strengthen, stretch and evolve as we grow into new versions of ourselves. What a gift to have a body that allows us to experience this life.”

Within four hours her post had garnered more than 70,000 likes and is filled with comments supporting the now plus-sized model. The 30-year-old influencer’s message comes one year after she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. She has mentioned many times over the past year that her post-pregnancy body is bigger than she expected. But Iskra Lawrence always remains positive.

“Still getting used to modeling in this new body that’s stretched, widened, and feels softer but stronger than ever,” Iskra wrote in a separate Instagram post from January. “After birth, I’m also reborn. A new chance to fall in love with a new me. A new house to make a home. A new me to grow into and nurture. So here we are, creating new images together. Celebrating the new me. And celebrating the all-new @aerie boy-brief that’s back and better than ever.”

Though she likes to stay positive, Iskra Lawrence admits that she misses being skinny. She captioned a black-and-white photo from before pregnancy: “Sometimes I miss the old me.”

“Sometimes I miss how comfortable in my sexuality I was,” the influencer wrote. “How unashamed I was of nudity and posing provocatively but in an unforced natural way.” She continued, saying that “I felt like sharing this with you today because I needed to get it off my chest and I’d love to know if anyone feels this way that the pressure of an online personality made them shrink or deny parts of themselves?”

“Regardless of what industry you’re in, there are certain standards I think we all feel like we have to adhere to be socially acceptable online – how do you feel about that?” Iskra Lawrence added. “Because I’m really trying to re-find all these lost parts of me.”

Iskra Lawrence feels the modeling industry should embrace all body shapes and sizes. Her message of positivity has affected thousands of lives. Her fans show support and praise for the young model in comments on her Instagram posts.

“Thank you for your transparency and all of your posts about body positivity,” a new mother wrote on her post. “I am 2 months postpartum, and while I think every body is amazing and deserves appreciation, I still find myself feeling self-conscious from time to time.”

The commenter continued, saying that “your posts have always reminded me to love myself where I am, and I can’t express enough how powerful that is. You rock!”
