Bad blood between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift may finally be over after five years, as the celebrities appear to be putting it behind them.

During an interview with former-New York Times op-ed writer Bari Weiss, Kim was asked what her favorite Taylor Swift song was, presumably in an attempt to draw out more of their five-year-long drama.

Surprisingly, Kim Kardashian responded with a beef-ending reply: “I really like a lot of her songs.”

“They’re all super cute and catchy,” she said, adding that she would have to “look in my phone to get a name.”

Paving the way for a friendlier relationship, Kim’s comments seemingly distance her from Kanye West’s crazy antics. Kim also said that she is a huge fans of Kanye West‘s music, citing both My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Yeezus as her top two favorites.

The highly publicized feud started back in 2009, way before Kanye West and Kim Kardashian ever started dating. Running up on stage at the 2009 Video Music Awards, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for “Best Female Video” to state that he thought Beyonce’s video for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” which was nominated for the same award, was “one of the best videos of all time.”

The rapper was removed from the venue and his tour with Lady Gaga was canceled due to controversy and backlash.

Flashing forward to 2016, seven years later, Kanye West released a song called “Famous,” in which he included the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b***h famous.”

When Taylor denied that she ever gave Kanye the green light to use the line, Kim Kardashian got involved, as she and the rapper were married back in 2012. Releasing a secret recording of a phone call between Kanye and Taylor where the singer-songwriter allegedly approved the song, many reports claimed that the call was heavily edited.

Other unconfirmed sources close to Taylor also claimed that she approved the use of her name in the song but not for Kanye to call her a “b***h,” which he allegedly added after.

“She totally approved that. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” Kim Kardashian told GQ at the time. “I swear, my husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”

Kim later tweeted out snake emojis at the singer, in effect calling her a “snake,” which became part of Taylor’s imagery for the 2017 song “Look What You Made Me Do.” The two allegedly haven’t spoken since but have declared in various interviews that they are both “over it” and moving on.

“It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us, but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it,” Taylor Swift told Elle in 2019. That same year, Kim Kardashian told Andy Cohen that “I feel like we’ve all moved on.”

The 41-year-old fashion mogul also praised Bari Weiss’ “set-up” when she asked Kim who her favorite Saturday Night Live castmate was in a series of rapid questions, alluding to her rumored romance with comedian Pete Davidson, 28.

Kim coyly answered that, “You know who it is.”

Taylor Swift and Pete Davidson also recently made an appearance together on SNL for a “Please Don’t Destroy” parody music video titled “Three Sad Virgins.”
