The new mother is ecstatic and counting her blessings. Though many more celebs are having kids between 40 and 50, it’s still unusual. Fear is always present during high-risk pregnancies, but it turns out the Naomi has plenty of fight left in her. She’ll be able to impart all that motherly strength and wisdom to her baby.
Back in 2017, Naomi admitted to Evening Standard magazine that she always wanted to be a mother and that she thought about it all the time. Still, the supermodel explained that there was no rush and that it could happen at any time. “I think about having children all the time,” she said in the interview. “But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.”
Just under two years ago, Naomi was not ready for children. She told WSJ Magazine at the time that was going to wait a bit before trying. “Not yet,” Naomi said. “I’ll see what the universe brings me.”
The universe came bearing gifts, and it seems the 50-year-old mother couldn’t be happier. Her fans feel the same way. Within a few hours her baby post garnered over 750,000 likes.
