Nathan Meads is a 35-year-old single dad from Oxford, England with one major talent: he’s a Brad Pitt look-alike! While some might find those good genes a gift, Nathan sees it as a curse. And though the Brad Pitt look-alike has made a career out of his resemblance to the Oscar winner, there are plenty of reasons why he’d ditch his appearance.
According to Nathan, his brush with fame began more than a decade ago. He explained that he first learned about his movie-star good looks when he was 20 years old and that “this continued for about 10 years.” He admitted that he “would always just laugh it off.”
“Some people would say I must be related to him or that my mum must have had an affair with him,” Nathan Meads said of his doppelgänger status. “A lot of people, even now, will do a double-take when they walk past me or will ask me for a picture, although some of them just take pictures without me realizing.”
Nathan said that while the attention was nice, he didn’t realize its full potential until years later. “While hundreds of people told me I looked like him, I never did anything about it but then it became a constant thing that, wherever I went, people would say it.” Finally, only three years ago, Nathan Meads decided to take this gift and turn it into something more. The father of two started working as a Brad Pitt impersonator and his social media presence is exploding.
Nathan sent his pictures to four look-alike agencies and now he appears as a professional Brad Pitt impersonator. Nathan has started making anywhere from $350 to $690 per look-alike gig – cute and profitable!
While extra cash is nice, Nathan Meads admitted that looking like Brad Pitt isn’t always a Hollywood dream. His sexy looks have made it difficult to find a date.
“I do get hit on by women a lot,” Nathan admitted. “Some of them just can’t believe how much I look like him and some of them accuse me of ‘catfishing.’ People always try and live-video call me on my Instagram because they don’t think I’m real… They’ll add me on all of my social media profiles and keep messaging me.”
Nathan has tried dating apps, too, but to no avail. Posting pictures on dating sites has elicited bad reactions from women. Some accuse him of having a fake profile while others go overboard and will “literally start stalking” him.
“I just deleted my dating profiles and I’m just staying single,” Nathan explained. “I’m not really looking for love anyway and don’t want to settle down as my daughters are my world and my biggest priority. I’m not looking for my Angelina.”
The Internet personality does admit that there are advantages. His dating life may be a bust, but his professional life is booming. Being a Brad Pitt look-alike has scored him invites to red-carpet events and his Instagram account is getting traction. He was invited to ITV’s Survival Of The Fittest but turned it down because it meant leaving his daughter behind.
Nathan shared that his looks have gotten him into crazy events and he’s partied with many celebrities. “I’ve partied with many celebrities from Love Island, Ex On The Beach, and Big Brother, and I was also approached by the latter but turned them down because I just didn’t think it was for me,” he recalled.
He also said he “met Ricky at a charity event in Liverpool in 2018 when we were seated at the same table. It was quality because growing up, Ricky was the man. But he actually left his bill unpaid for when he left the party, and me and my agent and a few others ended up having to fork out the money to pay it!”
Despite his growing fame, Nathan Meads is staying down-to-earth. He said that people are “always so surprised at how humble and down to earth” he is.
“I just think we are all the same and I’ve just been blessed with these good looks,” Nathan joked. He also said that he and Bradd have a lot in common.
“He seems like a real gentleman and a family man so we have that in common,” Nathan said. There is still a glaring difference between them, according to Nathan. “We have very different bank balances,” he said.
Now that the Brad Pitt look-alike has gone viral, he’s hoping that he’ll have his first run-in with the real deal. Nathan said he is “a big Brad Pitt fan” and believes the Oscar winner is a “great actor.” They haven’t had the chance to meet face to face, but his fingers are crossed.
