Fans of Ramona Singer, star of The Real Housewives of New York City, are calling for Bravo to fire the star after she made racist comments during an episode of the show. Fans took to Twitter to express their outrage, claiming the star has been given too many breaks.

During an episode of RHONY, Housewife Eboni Williams hosted a Black Shabbat dinner for the ladies in order to bring attention to the struggles of minorities. Ramona ended up making the event all about her.

One Black woman decided to share a story about how hospital staff discriminated against her when she was giving birth to her child and how she almost died because they wouldn’t listen to her pain. Ramona turned the story around and decided to share her own birth story, saying how she was a victim of racism when a Black nurse wouldn’t give her the medication she asked for.

Fans said they’d had it with Ramona, and that it was time she be fired by Bravo.

Co-stars of Ramona said she was being insensitive and the star said, “I’m like a two-year-old.” & “I need to be more filtered.” Bravo hasn’t made a decision about whether Ramona Singer will be fired from the show or not.

New Housewife Eboni Williams has been at odds with Ramona for most of the season. Williams is the first Black Housewife of RHONY and she is a former co-host for Fox News. She has tried to have multiple conversations with Ramona about race during this season, but the veteran Housewife has shut down every conversation.

When Williams tried to connect with Ramona Singer by talking about President Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris, Ramona stormed out of the conversation and said “Let’s just have a nice evening, I don’t want to talk politics.”

Fans of Ramona Singer are calling for the start to be fired from The Real Housewives of New York after she was seen making racist comments against black women in a recent episode. Fans of the show said that the star has been given too many breaks regarding her rude behavior. Bravo has not commented on whether the star will be fired.

This is not the first time that Ramona Singer made these kinds of comments. She is known on the show for being obnoxious and rude. In an episode before the Black Shabbat dinner, Ramona was seen crying and saying how when she was in college Jewish girls bullied her for being Christian. In response, one fan tweeted “I cry at night. I wish I was Jewish. ARE YOU KIDDING ME @ramonasinger ?! If that was true, you’d convert. Ugh. My eyes. They are permanently stuck in the back of my head. RAMONA UGHHHH #RHONY.”

In another episode of The Real Housewives of New York, the ladies went to a Cancun resort for vacation and Ramona called hotel staff “servants,” saying she had never had so many people wait on her.

While RHONY stars are dealing with the Ramona Singer controversy, fans are wondering whether the show will be canceled for other reasons. The show has had low ratings since losing Housewife Bethenny Frankel and most recently they have postponed the season’s reunion special.

Fans are worried that it spells bad news for the franchise. Bravo executives have made no moves to start planning for Season 14 and a source told Radar that there has been talking about putting the show on permanent hiatus.

Some fans are blaming the low ratings on the new housewife Eboni Williams. The star denied these claims and said that people are just not watching cable TV as much as they used to. She believes that the low ratings are happening because Covid-19 restrictions are opening back up and many people are going out again instead of watching TV.

“The other reality is ‘RHONY’s’ ratings were disproportionately up last season because the series premiered in April of 2020, which was literally the inauguration, like the kickoff of the lockdown of a national and global lockdown. People literally had nowhere else to go,” Williams said. “The world literally started to open up exactly when we premiered [this year].”

Fans also said that Williams is trying to make the show “too woke” by having events talk about important Black history and discrimination. Williams said that she is just trying to make the show reflect the times we are living in.
