The video shows Washington and Ruggs at the scene of the fiery crash, sitting in the road and embraced in a hug just moments after the pair allegedly rear-ended the car of Tina Tintor, 23, on Tuesday night.
The emotional footage appears to show Ruggs crying and cursing while Washington tries to keep him calm and call out to bystanders for help.
Car Crash Video Shows Rudy Washington Hugging Henry Ruggs
The new video appears to begin just after the crash, with Tintor’s vehicle engulfed in flames.
The camera pans over to Rudy Washington — also called Kiara Kilgo-Washington — hugging a panicked Henry Ruggs and sitting on the side of the road behind their badly damaged Corvette.
“Okay, alright, I’m here, I’m sorry,” Washington appears to tell Ruggs, who then curses loudly.
The TMZ video then cuts ahead to show a bystander passing by the couple, and Washington is heard asking them for help. A law enforcement officer is seen passing through the shot.
The person recording the video is heard telling the officer that “there’s a person” in Tintor’s burning car.
Just after, the bystander who passed by the couple before, is seen speaking to a second police officer.
“Henry Ruggs, right there,” the bystander apparently says. “That’s Henry Ruggs right there, he plays for the [Las Vegas] Raiders.”
Rudy Washington is heard continuing to ask for assistance
“Can we get help? Can you please help him,” she cries, apparently referring to Ruggs. “He is knocked unconscious!”
The video does not appear to show Ruggs losing consciousness, but TMZ reported that the wide receiver “drift[ed] in and out of consciousness in [Washington’s] arms.”
A short time later, the Raider is heard and then seen sobbing on Washington’s shoulder as she comforts him.
All the while, Tina Tintor’s Toyota Rav-4 continues to burn, popping and cracking as the tires appear to burst from the heat of the flames.
One of the bystanders appears to embrace the crying Ruggs ina hug, when Washington again asks witnesses close by to get help.
The video then abruptly cuts to footage apparently taken at the scene of the accident a few hours that morning, with the burnt-out husk of Tintor’s car still in the street.
Prosecutors: Henry Ruggs Was Drunk at Time of Deadly Crash
Both Tina Tintor and her dog were killed in the fire that resulted from the crash, police have said.
According to prosecutors, tests taken after the deadly accident showed that Ruggs’ blood alcohol content was 0.161 percent — double the legal driving limit in the state of Nevada. Officials added that the now-former NFL player was traveling at 156 miles per hour just before the crash.
Investigators also claimed they found a “loaded gun” in Ruggs’ car, though no charges have been filed to that effect.
At his arraignment Wednesday, Ruggs appeared in a wheelchair and wearing a neckbrace. The exact extent of his injuries has not been reported.
The disgraced NFL star is reportedly due back in court next week.
Washington was also injured in the Tuesday car crash. The Associated Press reported that she received emergency surgery on her arm after being transported to an area hospital from the scene.
Another video taken the night of the crash and posted to Facebook by Rudy Washington appeared to show her and Ruggs’ partying at the Topgolf resort in Las Vegas with many empty mai tai glasses on their table, Breaking Daily News has reported.
